If you are one of the 71 million plus people who write in a blog or even if you are just one of the few who maintain their own home page, then you might want to consider turning all the words you churn out and all of the idea you discuss into cash.

Getting the best programs to promote is actually a fairly relative concept. Judging which affiliate program is the best is always subjective to the person. Before you start on your quest for the top programs you want to promote, however, you should first be informed about what an partnering program actually is.

This is actually a model used by companies to monitor and pay for online advertising. An affiliate program pays for any business that a site may bring to the company. As you may know, advertising using other types of media can be pretty hard to monitor. It can actually take a lot of painstaking research and surveys to pinpoint which billboards work and which TV advertisements do not. This means that companies take a lot of risk in paying for advertisements which may not work.

An affiliate program removes this risk by letting companies track the various advertisements. This means that the companies can actually choose to pay only those websites which actually bring in the dough. No cash or resources are wasted on affiliates which are not effective in bringing business to the companies.

In choosing the top affiliate program, you have many factors to consider. Knowing these factors will allow you to see which partnering programs can actually satisfy your needs. Knowing these factors will allow you to find the top products for you.

Payment method - There are different types of affiliate programs in terms of payment. The most common payment method in use today is the pay-per-sale method. With this method, the company only pays you if the person you lead to the company site actually does business there. Because of this, you only get paid if it can be shown that you provided a way for them to get paid.

There are also certain affiliate programs which operate on a pay-per-action basis. These programs do not require people to actually spend money in order for the parnter to get paid. Affiliates are paid when visitors perform certain actions such as download trial software, write reviews, and fill up surveys.

Although they are quite rare, there are still some outdated partnering programs which make use of the pay-per-click system. This system hold a lot of potential for cheating and so is shunned by most companies. Less than 10 percent of internet affiliate programs today still use this method.

Joining method - You should also consider if the manner of joining is to your preference. There are certain affiliate programs which require you to pay a small membership fee in order to join. Usually, these programs do this with the promise of increasing traffic to your site. Majority of people today, however, make use of free affiliate programs. These partnering programs don’t require people to actually pay in order to start earning cash. This fact makes free affiliate programs all the more appealing to people.

The problem with these affiliate programs is that you tend to have a lot of competition. Unless your site is already established, you might have a problem actually earning a lot of cash with such a program.

Products - In choosing the top affiliate program for you, you need to check out the different products or services that are contained in the advertisements. You need to make sure that it actually promotes high quality good and or services. You need to make sure that people will actually be willing to examine the advertisements and not ignore them. After all, no matter how many advertisements you post, if people know that a product is bad, they will not buy it.

You could also choose to go with an affiliate program that actually advertises products specifically directed towards the visitors of your site. That is, if your site is oriented towards gamers, then the top affiliate site for you would be one that advertises games.

Advertising Tips - Making The Most Of Traffic Exchanges

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE FOR A LISTING OF THE HIGHEST RATED TRAFFIC EXCHANGES

There are many different ways to promote your web site on the Internet. One of those ways is with traffic exchanges. Unfortunately, most people don’t know how to effectively take advantage of traffic exchanges so that they bring real targeted visitors to their site. In this article, we’re going to take a look at what traffic exchanges are, how they work and how to most effectively use them. Hopefully, after reading this article, you’ll have a solid game plan for using traffic exchanges to your advantage.

So, what exactly are traffic exchanges? Well, they’re sites that people register with in order to get their web sites seen by other people. The way this works is actually quite simple. You sign up with the site, submit your web site to the exchange, and then you view other people’s sites. For each site you view, you get a certain number of credits. For each credit you earn, you get a certain number of views to your own site by others. The goal is for people to see your site, like what they see and hopefully purchase your product or service. In theory, this incentive based form of advertising should work fine. But there are problems.

Each site you view, depending on the exchange you belong to, must be viewed for a minimum amount of time. This time varies anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds or longer. While it may seem that this actually makes it better for the site owners, keeping people at your site for a minimum amount of time, it’s actually the reason why most exchanges don’t work for most people. Because most members are constantly watching the clock, once that timer goes off, they’re off as well and on to the next site. It’s rare that anybody sticks around long enough to read a 20 page sales copy. Because of this, most people have very little luck with traffic exchange advertising.

However, there is a solution, and it’s a simple one. Instead of using traffic exchanges to bring people to your long sales page, put up a very short squeeze page to give them a free report, preferably on how to generate traffic with traffic exchanges. Most people really need this info. Then, in the report, you can pitch your main product, as long as it’s Internet marketing related. As you can guess, traffic exchanges are not very effective for promoting non Internet marketing items. Most of the people who use them are either promoting an Internet marketing product, or if they’re promoting something else, they’re going to need info on how to use traffic exchanges effectively.

By using traffic exchanges in this manner, you stand a good chance of actually getting people to purchase your product or service.

How To Make Traffic Exchange Programs Work For You!

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE FOR A LISTING OF THE HIGHEST RATED TRAFFIC EXCHANGES

What do all websites need to be successful? Traffic! Do you know that one of the cheapest, easiest and quickest ways to generate traffic is by using traffic exchanges?

The way they work is that you earn credits by surfing other peoples websites. Your earned credits are then used to show other people your website. To join, you need to submit your name, email and website. Your website will then go into rotation with the other websites that have registered with that particular traffic exchange.

When surfing on a traffic exchange there is a counter that counts down a certain number of seconds and when the counter is done you have to click on a number to move to the next site. They operate on a credit system and you get credit by spending time on a particular website. Your credit gets reduced when another member of the exchange visits your website. Increasing your credit gives your website a more effective and wider reach.

A good tip is to use a multi-tab browser. This will allow you to surf many exchanges at the same time by running several websites in multiple tabs while only one window is open for viewing in your browser. The Firefox Browser and newer versions of Netscape will let you surf multiple exchanges at once.

Here are some more tips on how to get the most from traffic exchanges:

1. Try to use only about 3-5 good exchanges. It is difficult to keep up with too many and this will allow you to focus your efforts on productive advertising.

2. You must take the time to surf and build up credits. Plan to stick with it for a couple of months at least.

3. You can also advertise your traffic exchange referral links from one exchange to another and build your downline while also getting more free credits.

4. Do not just use your main website on the exchanges. Advertise additional pages off of your main website page that have special offers or other related services.

5. Be different and offer something for free, such as an ebook, software, etc. There is nothing wrong with being nice and offering people a free gift for visiting your website.

6. If your offering a network marketing or affiliate program then do yourself a favor and create your own opt-in form. Something new will attract more attention.

7. Leave the selling for another time. Try and get as many emails as possible and then worry about making the sale. Offer a newsletter related to your website.

When determining what traffic exchanges to use it is important that you are able to promote multiple URLs. You want the capability to promote other services or programs other then your main one. Since you will be using a number of traffic exchange programs you can promote one traffic exchange on another exchange. This will make it easier for you to get free credits by referring others. Do not forget that you also may want to be able to promote any affiliate programs that you may be involved with.

Some of the free traffic exchange sites may only let you add a few pages, but you can get around this by changing the ones you are promoting at any time even though it is more work. If a traffic exchange program is sending visitors to your website then the extra work is worth it.

As with any other form of advertising on the internet you have to do some research to determine the best traffic exchanges for your needs. Here are some helpful tips for finding good quality traffic exchanges:

1. Find out which ones rank high on Google, and also in the paid ads. A traffic exchange site that is worth your effort will be able to afford to get a high search engine ranking and be able to pay a lot of money for paid classified ads.

2. Use Alexa.com and check the rankings of the exchange sites. If a site has a high Alexa ranking, then they probably have lots of traffic. If you join that traffic exchange then you now have your website appearing on a highly visible site. For example, Trafficswarm has a high Alexa ranking.

3. You can try to find reviews online, but that may not be a good idea since people are going to promote a program because they want to sign you up through their referral link.

4. Select exchanges with many members and try to determine whether the exchange already has alot of websites that are similar to yours, if they do then move on!

5. Try to use traffic exchanges that have categories available for you to place your website in. This will give you more targeted traffic.

The real key to free traffic exchanges is that you do not have to upgrade or spend any money to buy credits. You can always stop using them if you do not get any results.

A good traffic exchange program that is free should be able to get you some results, if not then do not waste your time!

Even if you do not get lots of traffic, your site is being seen by real people and this helps to get your website and name in front of as many people as possible so that they may remember your website in the future.

For your website to be successful it needs to be seen by as many people and as many times as possible.

How To Use Traffic Exchanges To Help You Market Your Home-Based Business

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE FOR A LISTING OF THE HIGHEST RATED TRAFFIC EXCHANGES

Many people use traffic exchanges to try and generate traffic for their home-based business . Yes, they may get lots of views from these traffic exchanges but that is just about it. Just views, no sales. The problem with traffic exchanges is everyone is busy advertising their own business instead of looking for new businesses. So basically you have too many advertisers and no buyers.

In order to use traffic exchanges effectively you must cater to the advertisers. You must offer something that appeals to the advertisers in the traffic exchanges. So here is a simple solution. Create a subscription webpage offering a free course on how to produce better results from traffic exchanges. Then on your thank you page, where you thank them for signing up for your free course, you then present whatever product your home-based business is selling. Or whatever you you are trying to market. It could be a subscription to your newsletter or a free e-book with your links in it. Use your imagination, a thank you page is a great way to market your product. When you have your webpage setup, start to market your course on the traffic exchanges. As for the content for the free course, just relay the same information you learned from this article.

This is very effective. Also if you do not have the tech skills to create the two pages above, you will have to hire someone. It should not cost much since this is very simple to do. This is one of the many different techniques you can use to build your home-based business .

MLM Multi Level Marketing Take Away Closes

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

Multilevel marketing companies teach their down line lots of sales techniques but fortunately they do not teach them ethics. All too often a down line multilevel marketing recruit will go into a meeting and immediately slip into unethical sales practices. It is unfortunate that the multilevel marketing companies are unwilling to police their own sale forces and down lines.

Instead they say; if those salespeople are unethical that is not my fault I am an ethical practitioner and merely a sponsor into the organization. However, if this is the case then in fact the multilevel company itself is responsible for the sales force out their peddling their product and in that case since they are not monitoring those salespeople and those salespeople are breaking the law then in fact the multilevel marketing company which also shuns its responsibility through contracts claiming that the salespeople are multilevel marketing independent contractors; then he indeed no one is taking responsibility for these unethical sales practices.

Multi-level Marketing Company’s down line people stand to gain quite a bit by manipulating the feelings of those they’re trying to sign up and they prey upon weaknesses. When they find someone who is of strength of character and sees through this manipulation and says that they are not interested; well then the multilevel marketing executive will say; well you are not qualified to be in our organization. A last minute take away close and a chance to run for higher ground in an attempt to save face. Well this is about the biggest bunch of BS I have ever heard, as that person has no interest in being in the organization because it is crooked and highly unethical. Consider those in 2006.

Is This MLM Business Opportunity An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE FOR THE MOST LUCRATIVE MLM AVAILABLE ONLINE

Sorting through the myriad of multilevel marketing opportunities can be difficult. Some are legitimate business opportunities offering great products at great prices. Unfortunately others are questionable, perhaps borderline illegal. In the past, many multilevel business opportunities were little more than pyramid schemes. These illegal programs counted on recruiting others into the system without offering any real product or service. These pyramid schemes eventually came to the attention of law enforcement. Unfortunately unsuspecting people lost millions of dollars before these schemes were shut down. Today it is illegal to operate a pyramid scheme. The issue however, is how to determine whether the business opportunity that you are considering is too good to be true.

In response to scrutiny by law enforcement, many variations of the multilevel marketing plans have been created to disguise the fact that they are only slightly better than an illegal pyramid scheme. Fortunately, there are several indicators of whether a multilevel business opportunity is legitimate. Consider these five questions when determining whether a multilevel business opportunity is legitimate:

1. Are there real products, or services, at reasonable prices?

Many companies offer product sales in an attempt to appear legitimate. Often times these products are either not something that anyone would want or not reasonably priced. If distributors are required to purchase the product in order to be eligible for sales commissions, the opportunity is probably borderline legitimate. If distributors are required to recruit new distributors before being eligible to earn commission, it is questionable. If the only people purchasing the product are new distributors, the opportunity seems highly suspect.

2. Do you have sufficient information to make an informed decision?

Any literature promoting the multilevel business opportunity should contain enough information about the product to allow a reasonable person to make an informed decision. Information to assess the potential for sales of the product should be included. Is the income potential of the business opportunity realistic or does it seem too good to be true? Is the entire pitch focused on how much money a distributor can make? Be wary when you see pictures of sales people in front of fancy cars and mansions. Legitimate businesses are built on their products and services, not their marketing prowess.

3. Is training about the product or service provided?

If the product isn’t the main focus of the information you should wonder why. Factors like marketability, competition, and price should be discussed. When looking at a product consider whether you would be interested in buying the product. Does the price seem appropriate, based upon what you know of the product. If you wouldn’t want the product, what makes you think that someone else would?

4. Are resources available to help you make sales?

The focus of the company should be on selling their products. To that end, the company should arm their distributors with tools to effectively make sales. If these resources aren’t available, you should wonder why.

5. Is recruitment of affiliates or distributors an option or is it required?

Recruiting distributors or affiliates to work under you is common in multilevel organizations, however, it should not be required. If you are required to recruit distributors prior to earning commissions, you should wonder if this is the only way that the company can sell their product. Any company that demands a certain number of recruits before paying commission on your sales seems suspect.

Regardless of whether you use these five questions when evaluating multilevel business opportunities, you need to be careful. If an opportunity seems too good to be true it probably is.

Affiliate Marketing - 7 Effective Ways To Select Product for Promotion

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE TO BEGIN BUILDING YOUR AFFILIATE FUNNEL CASH SYSTEM

Many affiliate marketers do not put their substantial effort in finding the right product to promote rather they are in great hurry to develop the marketing campaign for any product they think are “hot selling” on net.

Marketing is not all about creating hype & gimmick; it is a consistent & systematic approach which builds loyal consumer base with strong brand position in the market.

It is needless to say if your product has no value or if it is a scam you cannot expect that your product will sell well even though you put your best effort in your promotion. There might be some good conversions in short term but your credibility will be destroyed in no time. You might be thinking I will hit & run but no company or individual became successful through selling or promoting scam in their business endeavor.

There are tons of opinions regarding product selection. Many affiliates get confused. Here are some guidelines.

Know your product; It is not good enough to know the product just read reviews. It might be useful for primary information gathering purpose but you must either pay for the service or buy the product or ask the publisher to give you a try. Theory of empathy comes into play here as you will experience the product or services as a consumer not a marketer which is very critical to understand the product’s utilities.

Know your product’s lifecycle; Find out the position of the product if it is in the early stage, rising or in the ending stage. It’s pointless to promote anything which is dieing.

Know the demand; Supply-demand plays important role in your success. The higher the demand it is more likely that your marketing effort will not go in vain. Keyword research tool has significant role to find out the demand on net. For new product you should use your judgment & experience.

Legitimacy ; It has been a common practice for many affiliates who’s promoting hyped & exacerbated product commonly known as scam for quick conversion. You must make sure that the product delivers what said in its sales page & the company or individual got some sort of credibility in the market. Investigation with Better Business Bureau may be the best idea.

Payout; There is a dilemma about promoting high paying product & low paying product. Good company with strong brand position in the market trends to pay low commission because of the consistent sales. It is not necessarily true that quality of the product determine the commission but more often inferior company pays high commission than the superior one. Key factor here maybe optimization of both product quality & payout.

Market trend; No doubt it is a very important factor for selecting the right product to promote. Market trend can be determined by extensive research on web , local media etc.

Consumer experience: Consumers are the best judge of your product. Find out the comments, experience of the customer who used your product earlier. Rating the customer support, quality of the product/services will be worthwhile.

Selecting product for promotion maybe a daunting task but consistent & systematic effort will always ensure greater value to your consumer as well as will make money for you for many years to come.

New To Affiliate Marketing Don’t Lose Your Head

March 11th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE TO BEGIN BUILDING YOUR AFFILIATE FUNNEL CASH SYSTEM

When you first come on-line you are bombarded with information about various different money making opportunities that you can pursue with an internet business. Now don’t get me wrong individually they may all have merits, but they also have an habit of suggesting that their method is easy to replicate and within no time you will be making on-line profits.

The thing you have to remember is that it is the job of the sales copy to create an emotional need and sense of urgency to look at that product offering then and now. If you have experienced that feeling and have struggled with the emotional fight that you undergo, you have just encountered sales copy at its best. You will believe that you can start off in affiliate marketing, ad sense, product creation, resale and private label rights and the rest all at once.

The reality is that you can’t do this and if you try you will find yourself pulling your hair out and totally discouraged by your experience, this is the worst side of information overload it can kill your enthusiasm and possibly your financial budget before you begin.

So this is what you should do, if you are committed to starting down the road to affiliate marketing these are the steps you should take.

1.Get yourself an education, take a look at two or three resources and learn from them and only affiliate marketing to begin with. without an education you can kiss your affiliate marketing business goodbye.

2.What about you and your interests, there may be a niche that you may have personal knowledge of and be able to discuss in some authority.

3.You will need to complete some keyword research to establish the main keywords and the demand and competition that’s involved

4.If you think you have an area of interest you need to locate products associated with your niche, I would recommend you visit Click bank and Commission junction to begin with.

5.If you choose a product to promote be sure to check out the sales page to get your own gut reaction, be prepared to invest in it to form your own opinion.

6.Establish the payment frequency of commissions, and try and find out how trust worthy the affiliate scheme is.

7.Ensure that they provide ads to assist you with your promotional activities.

8.Then you need to have a plan on how you will promote and how you will generate traffic

This is simplifying the process somewhat, with each of these points there is much to consider, but it just provides an over view and at the same time illustrates the dangers that are involved when first coming on-line and been met with a barrage of promotions, no wonder its easy to lose your head.

Generating Traffic Through Promotional Exchanges

March 10th, 2008 by slanier

CLICK HERE FOR A LISTING OF THE HIGHEST RATED TRAFFIC EXCHANGES

There are many ways of generating traffic to a website these days. And more techniques are currently being developed to help webmasters get the visitors they need to sustain their growth. Traffic is especially important to affiliate marketers, as it is only through them that they can make sales and earn good income.

One good method to consider is promotional exchanges or simply, traffic exchanges. This is the process of pooling your resources together with an individual or company so that you can maximize the number of visitors that you can direct to your own website on any given day.

Traffic exchanges can be done in three ways. These are through:

1. Link exchanges
Link exchange is simply publishing the URL of your website to another. And you are supposed to do the same thing for the website that you have partnered with. By doing so, both of you are practically sharing your visitors with each other. While not all of the other website’s visitors would come and check your website out, there would definitely be a good number of them that would notice your link and visit. It is always best that you exchange your link with a website that is related to yours, more preferably with a higher page rank and better popularity.

2. Banner Exchanges
Banner exchanges primarily works the same way as link exchanges. However, banners prove to be more effective than simple link exchanges. Banners can be created with eye-catching graphics and images. On the other hand, links are nothing but text ads that can’t be embellished with colors and pictures.

3. Ad text exchanges
Ad texts are the ones you see on most websites labeled as ‘Sponsored links’ or ‘Google Ads’. Right now, there are several websites that offer services like these. But unlike Google Ads, you don’t have to pay for anything to have your website listed on the ad text links that are distributed over participating websites. All you have to do is to publish the advertising texts on the pages of your website and your site is guaranteed to appear on others. You can say that this is the free version of Overture or Google Ads.
